ABOUT THE AGENT: Pete Mulvihill has been the co-owner of Green Apple Books, a family of independent bookstores in San Francisco, for over 30 years. He has served on the boards of the Northern California Independent Booksellers Association (now CALIBA) and the American Booksellers Association. Throughout his career as a bookseller, he's strived to bring attention to small press, foreign and self-published books. He often champions small budget titles into backlist standards. He served on the Indies Next selection panel and actively participates in the larger publishing community of authors, editors, and booksellers. He has BA in English with a Black Studies minor from Colorado College and an MA in Writing from the University of San Francisco, where he taught writing for several years.
