![]() Anyone who knows me (Chuck) knows that I love concerts. It's my vice. Chuck's Concert Roundup is designed to share videos of some concerts I've attended recently, and discuss my love for music and fellow musicians. The Killers I wish I could have been closer for this festival show. (As my videos make apparent, I like to be right up in the action up close.) My cover band used to play some of their songs -- "Mr. Brightside" and "All These Things I've Done" -- so it was great to see them at Bourbon & Beyond. Rob Zombie This man is an entertainer! Dancing, yelling, moving around, chastising us for using our phones! I was amazed by his performance even though I only knew about 5 of the songs he played. Saw him at Riverbend. Frankie Valli Frankie was 89 years old when I saw him sing! I don't know if he's lip syncing or what, but he still sounds amazing. Doesn't move so well up on stage, but sounds so good! He played all the oldies hits, and the crowd had a blast. Bastille
The best part of seeing Bastille play at Bourbon & Beyond is that they kind of have some fascination with 90s techno, so they played covers of "Rhythm is a Dancer" as well as "Rhythm of the Night." Very unexpected and surreal. Comments are closed.
