Anyone who knows me (Chuck) knows that I love concerts. It's my vice. Chuck's Concert Roundup is designed to share videos of some concerts I've attended recently, and discuss my love for music and fellow musicians. Rancid. This was my first time seeing Rancid. I saw them at Great American Ballpark. I grew up on their big hits -- "Time Bomb" and "Fall Back Down." "Ruby Soho" is a special song for me because my rock cover band played that song in our lineup. It was usually played toward the end of the night (coming up to 2 a.m.) where many people had left, and we transitioned away from playing crowd pleasers (like Journey) to playing for ourselves. Three Dog Night. As I keep saying, if you're an aging classic rock artist, I want to see you perform. Three Dog Night was tons of fun. Going in, I thought I would recognize 3-5 of their songs, and ended up recognizing about 8-9. Saw these guys at the Hard Rock Casino. Pitbull. This man ruled pop a decade ago. He was high energy and entertaining. I saw him at Riverbend, and my favorite song of his is "I Like It." T-Pain.
"Get Low" has been burned into my brain ever since Tom Cruise danced to it in Tropic Thunder. Comments are closed.
