CONCERT ROUNDUP: Foo Fighters, Green Day, Pretenders, AWOLNATION

Green Day.

I am kind of ashamed that I never saw Green Day before. They've been such a fixture in the rock scene for decades. I got to take my sister to see them play at Great American Ballpark, and they were great. They played Dookie front to back and American Idiot front to back, and let's be honest, those are their best two albums.

Foo Fighters.

I like the Foo Fighters old stuff. I don't really listen to their new stuff. But it was past due to see these guys in concerts. Dave Grohl is screaming the whole time. No idea where this man gets his energy from.

The Pretenders.

The Pretenders opened for The Foo Fighters at Great American Ballpark. This was a band that kind of went around me. I only recognized a few of their songs. They did have a fervent following at the event though.

AWOLNATION. 

"Sail" is an amazing song. I was excited just for this one tune, but I enjoyed several other songs they played, as well. Saw them at the Hard Rock Casino.
