Jazmia Young is an associate agent at Curtis Brown Ltd. She received her bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing at the City College of New York and was a graduate of the Publishing Certificate Program at CCNY. Marissa Brown is an associate agent with Pippin Properties, Inc. Marissa has always been a reader. She is never without a book (or three, just in case). But it wasn’t until high school that she realized she could have a career in books. She studied English Literature at DePauw University in Indiana prior to attending the NYU Summer Publishing Institute. There she was introduced to the world of literary agencies and immediately knew she wanted to become an agent, which led her to Pippin. Marissa also assists in managing the licensing of Pippin titles for live stage and audio. MARISSA IS SEEKING: Marissa is open to a wide range of children’s book authors, illustrators, and author-illustrators.  ABOUT THE AGENT:
Morgan Hughes (she/her) grew up in the Midwest before relocating to Texas as soon as she turned eighteen. There, she attended Texas Tech University and earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English literature. Morgan was previously an intern and Agency Assistant at Pippin Properties before joining FinePrint Literary in 2023 as an Associate Agent. She currently lives in Texas with her husband and their dog.
